With over 20 years in the television and film industry, I specialise in producing diverse content across various formats and styles. My expertise spans Director of Photography, lighting camera operator, Film and Video Editing, Director, Broadcast Producer, and Lighting Director roles. Editing ANIMATION AND VFX
Post-production has served as the cornerstone of my career, where I’ve honed my skills with a range of industry-standard editing and VFX software solutions. Notably, I’ve had the privilege of editing features, broadcast series, and corporate videos, solidifying my expertise in delivering high-quality content across various mediums and genres.
Lighting and lecturing
The art of painting with light has the remarkable ability to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary, a lesson I learned long ago. Lighting transcends the mere application of three points in an interview setup; it’s an intricate craft that holds the power to transform storytelling. Sharing this knowledge with aspiring filmmakers enriches the fabric of future filmmaking, enhancing its quality and depth.

I simply don’t know where to start with a recommendation for Ivan as there are so many things to recommend him for. Not only a tech and production wizard but a lovely man and great to spend time with on any show. Ivan was originally with us on location for our filming but his incredible raft of talents meant he also joined us in post production as Editor too. When working as a Camera operator he has demonstrated a high degree of knowledge and is well versed in composition and is steady and composed throughout even the longest of shoot days.
As a lighting camera operator he is able to rig lights to achieve the directors vision and is able to think on his feet and make rapid changes even sans DMX control.
As a producer he has demonstrated the ability to put together a show from the ground up with some very particular clients often going the extra mile to ensure that the show is coherent, together and all the bases are covered often working late hours and weekends to make an idea come to life.
